06.11.2024. How to remove IP blocking during debugging
If you accidentally got banned while debugging your device or application and have already fixed the error, you can use the /unban command in https://t.me/narodmon20bot to remove the ban early.
We remind you that the command to check for blocking is /chkban.
However, if you continue to violate the rules, you will get banned again and again until you attract the attention of the admin with the prospect of getting banned for life.

27.09.2024. TOTP - a new way of authorization in the Project
A new TOTP authorization method has been added to the project, completely independent of external authorization services and without SMS, based on codes that change every 30 seconds. Highly recommended for those who constantly forget their passwords!

To use this method, you need to install the Google Authenticator application on your smartphone, which is available in GooglePlay and AppStore, then scan the QR code in this application on the Project website in the Profile \ Member Profile \ Google Authenticator section.

After adding your account to Authenticator, to authorize on the project website or in its applications, you should use your login (or email) in the Project and the temporary code displayed in Authenticator at the moment.

This authorization method is widely used in many international services (and not only from Google) due to its autonomy, which does not require an Internet connection, it works very stably.

4. The cost of VIP status for a year has increased due to an increase in the list of services included in this subscription, and a VIP subscription for 1 month has been added for only 99 rub.
5. Development and testing of a voice chat bot for Alice continues.
More info at vk.com
08.07.2024. Start of development of a voice chat bot for Alice
We are starting to develop a voice skill for Alice in addition to the already existing smart home skill. There will be a voice chat bot.
We ask interested participants to provide feedback to the Project's technical support about which commands/requests you would like to see in it first.
At the moment, the skill is private; if you want to take part in testing it, you need an invitation link, also through technical support on the Project website.

07.06.2024. METAR weather reports are now available to everyone
For the purpose of self-control for owners of public sensors and moderators, as well as in connection with the update of the METAR API, it was decided to display METAR weather reports, incl. and non-profit clients of the project. METAR data is also available in the project’s REST API applications and can be added to Yandex UD (Alice).
METAR weather reports are updated once an hour, but their reliability is one of the best.
PS OpenWeatherMap data is also available to participants, but by default its display is disabled in the "Show" menu. Please note that OpenWeatherMap displays averages and extrapolations for localities, not actual measurements.

21.12.2021. Pre-moderation of REST API apps
On the fact of massive complaints about the illegal use of project data on third-party resources, an audit was conducted on the use of our data and 145 application keys were blocked, most of them were created by the weather service #rp5 #rp5.
This sad fact forced us to take extreme measures and introduce pre-moderation of access to other people's public data through our REST API for all applications. Those. if you request through our API not only the data of your sensors, but also those of others, be sure to contact our technical support on the project website (REST API category) with an indication for what purposes you need access and to what extent to other people's public data. For applications in our Soft catalog, created for users of our project, we have already allocated the necessary limits, for the rest it has become equal to 1. See Profile \ My Apps List \ PubsLimit.
For commercial services, access to our API is only possible on a paid basis, since we plan to share the received profit with the owners of weather stations that are on the list of interest for these services.

11.09.2021. Changes in sensors rating accounting
From September 12, the calculation of the rating of the sensors will be changed based on the assessments of the participants and moderators of the project, namely:
- the reset of the rating is canceled when the sensor is republished;
- a "life span" is introduced for such assessments with a duration of 3 months (both positive and negative).
P.S. Reason for revision: more frequent cases of changes in the quality of meteorological data and stability of work over time.
